20 verbs * 23 tenses * 6 pronouns = 2760 potential conjugations
Welcome to Verbatim 3, a Java program that helps the user test and improve their knowledge of Spanish verb conjugations. The user is able to choose any or all tenses and pronouns to conjugate for any number of selected verbs. The program then randomly chooses from among the chosen elements and asks the user to input the correct conjugation. This process is repeated until time runs out or the user quits (likely out of boredom or frustration).
Verbatim 3 requires the Java runtime environment (at least 1.4 - 1.3 will not work, but 1.5 will). To find out which environment you have (if any), test your Java virtual machine. To download a Java runtime environment, visit this site for more information.
Verbatim 3 has only been tested on Windows XP. The downloadable *should* work on any Windows OS, but I haven't tested it on any others so don't be angry if it doesn't. The web interface works (hopefully) regardless of OS, so Linux and Mac users can use this tool as well (provided they have the proper JRE).
Java wasn't playing nice with accents, and I hate the alt commands anyway, so I programmed accents to be signified with the apostrophe. To put an accent on a letter, simply put an apostrophe after the accented letter (ex. "habi'a" (accented "i"))
